I loved your level 1 class. I had zero wine knowledge at that point other than I had recently discovered wines I loved at a pairing dinner in Paris and then a trip to Napa. Your class was instrumental in setting the basis for the rest of my wine exploration… in your class I realized that wine wasn’t just a drink; it’s a connection to history, culture, travel, food, biology, chemistry, geology, geography, climate…

Having recently graduated from WWCC’s wine program in Walla Walla, I appreciated and enjoyed the opportunity to flex my fledgling enological muscles throughout the WSET courses offered by Wine Enthusiast. The materials and support provided during the course proved the perfect complement to my practice in self-motivation and unsupervised discipline.

As a wine explorer and collector since my early 20’s, I’d had some limited exposure to wine “education,” but I always knew I wanted to do more. I wasn’t disappointed. The content was easy to follow, the guidance for tastings was clear and instructive, and the assortment of wines that we tried was interesting and enlightening. I got to try some new things and was also able to look at more familiar wines in a new light. The prep for the test was straightforward and I was able to pass with distinction on my first try.

I am proud to have been a student of the Wine Enthusiast Academy Level 1 course, which I successfully completed in the summer of 2021. I took the course during the COVID epidemic, and it gave me a fun way to stay connected to my love of learning about wines. The Wine Enthusiast Program was a perfect fit! Not only was I able to learn from expert wine instructors with a reputable company that I trusted already, I also had the opportunity to taste incredible wines and learn from the comfort of my own home! I highly recommend the program.
